About The Perdido Queen Owner
In 2019, Willie and Anna Jones, along with their daughter Ginny, brought The Perdido Queen to Mobile, Alabama from Hudson Marina in Orange Beach. What began as a three-month adventure quickly turned into something much more – it didn’t take long to realize that Mobile felt like home.
Embracing the spirit and hospitality of the city, the Jones family decided to settle in Mobile and make The Perdido Queen a lasting part of the community. Since then, they have been honored to serve both locals and visitors, offering unforgettable experiences through dinner cruises, port tours, and private event cruises along the beautiful Mobile River.
Today, The Perdido Queen proudly continues its mission of creating memorable moments on the water, all delivered with the warm, personalized service that only a family-owned business can provide.
We can’t wait to welcome you aboard!

About The Perdido Queen Vessel
The Perdido Queen was built in Freeport, FL by Freeport Ship Building in 2002. She was built for Big Dreamer Incorporated as the Spirit of Texas located in Gavistin, TX. Hudson Marina of Orange Beach, AL bought Spirit of Texas in January of 2014 and relocated her to Orange Beach.
Given the reginally spicific name “Spirit of Texas”, we decided to change the name of the vessel to Perdido Queen. The Perdido Queen opperated in Orange Beach until Willie and Anna Jones bought the boat from Willie’s father, Rodney Jones in 2018 and moved her to its current home in Mobile, AL in January of 2019.
