See the Mobile River come alive with a live guided tour aboard our charming riverboat, The Perdido Queen! Our Mobile River Tour is the perfect afternoon activity for tourists and Mobilians alike. There’s something interesting for everyone out on the water with Mobile’s ever-changing and active port. Your Tour Guide will catch you up to speed on important events and sites around the industrial riverfront, both current and past. For instance, the very place you board the Perdido Queen, the Mobile Convention Center, used to be known as something entirely different: the Banana Docks! You’ll learn more upon boarding our tour, complete with climate-controlled decks, snacks and a full cash bar.

UP-CLOSE, BREATHTAKING VIEWS OF LEGENDARY VESSELS

You can expect to see legendary vessels from a one-of-a-kind view. Currently, the SS United States is a notable part of our cruise! You’ll get up close and personal with one of the United States’ largest pieces of history, complete with a retelling of its history and real artifacts from its voyages available onboard. The SS United States will soon leave to become the world’s largest artificial reef, so we recommend getting one last look above water before it’s too late!

Along the way, we’ll pass sites such as the Maritime Museum, Bankhead Tunnel and the Mobile Port Authority. See larger-than-life cranes in action or a vessel rehearsing abandon-ship procedures! You might even get to see a dolphin cruising alongside the riverboat… though they don’t adhere well to schedules!

Guided Tour: Enjoy an interesting tour of Mobile’s exciting active port, beautiful delta, and historic architecture with upfront views from the water!
Climate Controlled Vessel: 2-level, climate-controlled salons with panoramic window views and open-air balconies.
Full Cash Bar: Enjoy your favorite soda, beer, wine, cocktails or mocktails
Weather: Mobile cruises operate rain or shine. The vessel is heated or cooled.
Parking: We recommend the paid, covered parking at either the Convention Center or Riverview Parking garage. Please note that this parking is first-come-first-serve.
The Perdido Queen is docked at the back of the Convention Center’s parking garage. To board the boat, you will need to enter the parking garage. There is no need to go inside the Convention Center.Alternatively, metered street parking may be available in front of Cooper Riverside Park or Downtown Streets.
Accessibility: The Perdido Queen can accommodate manual wheelchairs in the main salon and features a ramp that leads to the boat.
Restrooms: A full restroom is on board our vessel.
Pricing: Food is not included with infant tickets.
